Threats

  • Eat agricultural products

  • There is a potential for them to spread various diseases

  • Displacing native birds

  • Nests can be unsightly and inconvenient

Treatment

  • Prevent nests from establishing

  • Make the area unappealing by using decoys, spikes, and noise

  • Treatment is difficult because of how successful these birds are in human environments
